Successful issuance of Bezeq debentures

Holon, Israel – January 9, 2024 – Bezeq, The Israel Telecommunication Corp., Limited (TASE: BEZQ), Israel’s leading telecommunications provider, announced today the successful issuance of two debenture series, raising a total amount of NIS 860 million, which is most of the Company's capital raising requirements for 2024.

An amount of NIS 510 million was raised through Debentures (Series 11) (NIS at fixed interest, average duration of 4.1 years), at a yield of 4.64% and a margin of 88 basis points above the corresponding government bond. In addition, an amount of NIS 350 million was raised through Debentures (Series 13) (NIS at fixed interest, average duration of 8.5 years), at a yield of 5.30% and a margin of 112 basis points.

Following the successful capital raising, Tobi Fischbein, CFO Bezeq Group, said "This is a highly successful issuance for us, with historically low margins, at a time when the country is at war and the markets are highly volatile. The low margins reflect the confidence of our investors in Bezeq's financial robustness and stability. This fulfills most of the Company’s capital raising requirements for 2024."

Following the capital raising, Bezeq applied to Midroog and Maalot rating companies to revise the rating for Debentures (Series 11 and 13), so that the Israeli rating will be valid for a total capital raising of up to NIS 1 billion par value.
