Re: Supplementary Immediate Report – Striking Out of a Motion to Approve a Class Action Lawsuit Against Pelephone Communications Ltd.
Further to the Company’s Immediate Report dated November 20, 2019, and to the description in Section 3.16.3(L) in the Description of the Corporation’s Business chapter in the Company’s periodic report for 2020 on the lawsuit filed against Company subsidiary Pelephone Communications Ltd. (“Pelephone”) and two other cellular communication companies (the “Defendants”), and the motion to approve it as a class action lawsuit; claiming, in connection with Pelephone, that in the past, Pelephone billed customers on behalf of third parties for content services, through the authorized payment methods deposited with Pelephone to pay the cellular bill – we hereby submit a supplementary immediate report that on January 31, 2022, the Company received Pelephone’s notice of a judgment authorizing the petitioner's motion for abandonment in the case made.
