Shlomo Rodav, Chairman of Bezeq, announces his resignation
Tel Aviv, Israel – June 22, 2020 – Bezeq The Israel Telecommunication Corp., Ltd. (TASE: BEZQ), announces that Shlomo Rodav, Chairman of Bezeq, has informed the Board of Directors of his resignation, effective from today. In the coming days the Bezeq Board will choose an Interim Chairman, and will start the formal process of selecting a permanent chairman who will replace Rodav in the position.
Rodav is leaving Bezeq after more than two years in the post, and under him the Group worked for corporate-level stability, the creation of a comprehensive strategic plan, building and implementing significant commercial moves in each of the Group companies, all during the complex process of changes in Bezeq’s ownership. Rodav had served previously from 2007 to 2010 as the Chairman of Bezeq.
Upon leaving Rodav stated, “It was an honor for me to be part of the best and leading telecommunications group in Israel. I leave behind me a well-managed Group, with a clear strategic direction and excellent managers, ready for tomorrow’s challenges in the telecommunications market.”
