Re: Immediate report - Petition to the High Court of Justice regarding calculation of the investment obligation of yes and HOT in local productions

On April 13, 2023 the Company received a notice from the subsidiary DBS Satellite Services (1998) Ltd. ("yes") that a petition had been filed for orders nisi with the Supreme Court sitting as the High Court of Justice against the Cable and Satellite Broadcasting Council (the "Council"), the chairman of the Council, yes, and HOT Communication Systems Ltd. ("HOT") (the "Petition").

The petition refers to the claim that, to determine the amounts under the Communications Law that yes and HOT are required to invest in the purchase or production of local productions for first time broadcasts,^[1]revenues from their other services, which are not satellite or cable multichannel television services, including telephony services, internet access services, and OTT multichannel television services must be included. Accordingly, the Supreme Court is petitioned to order the Council and the chairman of the Council to respond and explain why they did not order HOT and yes to include the revenues from these other services when calculating their annual investment obligations.
