An Immediate Report is hereby provided that on June 26, 2021 the Company received  a notification from the subsidiary DBS Satellite Services (1998) Ltd (“yes”) that it had received a petition to approve a claim as a class action that had been filed at the Central District Court.

As described in the petition, inter alia, customers of yes that order a channel for payment close to the date of closing the invoice and canceled it shortly afterwards (so that they were meant to pay on a daily basis), were apparently overcharged, which it is claimed is due to a malfunction of the system.

The definition of the group in the petition is all customers of yes who have been overcharged for an order of a paying channel as a result of the existing malfunction in the yes system, over the 7 years prior to filing of the petition for approval and up until its approval.,

It is claimed the level of personal damage is NIS 126.9 (NIS 26.9 for the overcharge and NIS 100 for non-monetary damage). In the petition it is noted that at this stage the petitioners do not have the required data in order to assess the damage of the members of the group, yet in the petition is valued at over NIS 2.5 million.

yes is studying the application and at this point it and/or the Company are unable to assess its chances.
