Court Ruling in Class Action
Further to the Company's immediate report dated February 6, 2017 and what is stated in section 2.18.1(e) of the chapter containing a description of the Company's business operations in the Company’s 2020 periodic report, regarding a petition to approve a class action concerning the Company’s anti-virus service, a supplementary immediate report is hereby provided that on May 26, 2021 the Company received the court ruling of that date confirming a compromise agreement between the parties in the proceedings.
The compromise agreement includes compensation to customers of the service of NIS 30 million (this amount includes compensation for the petitioner and fees), and benefits for subscribers of the service at an estimated cost of a further NIS 5 million. A full provision has already been made in the Company’s books for the compromise agreement costs.
