Gil Sharon appointed Chairman of the Board of Bezeq and its subsidiaries
Tel Aviv, Israel – August 2, 2020 – Bezeq – The Israel Telecommunication Corp., Ltd. (TASE: BEZQ), announces that Bezeq's Board of Directors has approved today the appointment of Gil Sharon to the position of Chairman of Bezeq and Chairman of the subsidiaries: Pelephone, yes, Bezeq International, Walla and Bezeq Online. Sharon will assume his position during the coming month.
Sharon has over 28 years' experience in diverse senior positions in the telecommunications industry, among others, as Pelephone's CEO for 10 years, and until recently as Chairman and CEO of Golan Telecom.
Sharon (56) holds a master's degree in business administration from Tel Aviv University, and a bachelor's degree in economics and business administration from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
