Bezeq Group publishes its 2024 ESG Report
Support for IDF soldiers and reservists, community contributions totaling NIS 15 million, and accessible communications for diverse populations across Israel’s communities and periphery

Holon, Israel – October 15, 2025 – Bezeq The Israeli Telecommunications Corp. Ltd. (TASE: BEZQ), Israel’s leading telecommunications provider, announced today that the Bezeq Group, which includes Pelephone, yes, and Bezeq International Tech, published its 2024 ESG Report. This is the Company’s sixth consecutive report, presenting its achievements, targets, and challenges for the coming years across the areas of Environment, Social, and Governance.
This year, the report focuses on strengthening Israel’s national resilience during times of emergency, the establishment of a dedicated fund to support IDF soldiers injured in the “Iron Swords” war, reducing the digital divide, advancing diversity and inclusion, and ongoing efforts to mitigate environmental impacts.

Bezeq Group’s contribution to Israel’s economic and technological development
- Fiber optic network deployment reaching 2.57 million households (approx. 85% of Israeli households)
- Over 1.3 million 5G subscribers at Pelephone
- 84% of yes customers migrated to internet-based broadcasting (IPTV)
- Investments of over NIS 1.7 billion in infrastructure
Environmental efficiency
- 6% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions versus last year
- 17% improvement in electricity consumption
- 16% improvement in water consumption compared to 2023 (32% compared to baseline year)
- Approx. 13% reduction in workplace accidents
- Completion of transition to green offices at yes and Pelephone – from reusable utensils to full waste separation
Bezeq Group during the “Iron Swords” war
Since the outbreak of the war, Bezeq Group companies, classified as essential enterprises in emergencies, operated around the clock to ensure continuity of telecommunications services for all Israeli residents. Company teams often operated under fire to provide secure connections for the IDF, security forces, evacuees from the South and North, and households nationwide.
Alongside infrastructure operations, the Group mobilized for the community: over 1,000 bomb shelters were connected to free internet services; hundreds of evacuated families received free telecommunications services; Pelephone deployed mobile service units and assisted thousands of soldiers and security personnel; yes provided free television services to thousands of evacuees; Pelephone and yes jointly established a command center and donated devices and content; and Bezeq International Tech provided internet connectivity to dozens of educational centers. These actions reflect Bezeq Group’s national responsibility and its commitment to ensuring civilian resilience even in times of crisis.

- 15,000 volunteer hours contributed by Group employees to community initiatives
- More than NIS 15 million in community donations
- Approx. 800 Bezeq Group employees serving in the reserves received recognition grants totaling approx. NIS 4 million
