Nir David appointed CEO of Bezeq
Holon, Israel – March 10, 2024 – Bezeq, The Israeli Telecommunications Corp. Ltd. (TASE: BEZQ), Israel’s leading telecommunications provider, announced today that Bezeq's board of directors approved the appointment of Nir David as CEO of Bezeq. David, who is currently VP Business Division at Bezeq, will take office on April 1st, replacing the Company's CEO, Ran Guron, who recently announced his resignation after two years as CEO and a total of eight years as CEO of Group companies.
David joined Bezeq in 1993 and throughout his years at the Company, he has held many management positions in the different divisions, including senior positions in the business, consumer, technology, and network divisions. In the last four years, he served as VP Business Division.
Following the appointment, the chairman of Bezeq Group, Tomer Raved, said "Nir has developed in the Company over some 30 years, becoming one of the most respected and professional managers in the Israeli telecommunications market. Throughout his years at Bezeq, he held a range of management positions in which he displayed excellent business and management skills, and in the last four years, as VP Business Division, he was responsible for many breakthroughs and for leadership in the market. I thank Ran Guron for the four years of collaboration and his contribution to Bezeq Group. I wish Nir great success in his position, and I look forward to working together with him and the other CEOs in the Group, to advance the Group strategy, to reinforce the Group as an innovative leader in its field, and as the anchor in Israel’s telecommunications market.
