Compromise in a class action suit against yes
Tel Aviv, Israel - April 11, 2019 - Bezeq The Israel Telecommunication Corp., Ltd. (TASE: BEZQ), announced today that further to the immediate report of the Company dated December 3, 2015 and the description in Section 5.17.1(d) of the Description of the Corporation's Business in the Company's Periodic Report for 2018 regarding a claim and a motion to approve it as a class action, filed against DBS Satellite Services (1998) Ltd. ("yes") and against an additional multi-channel television company in connection with charges for paid content services, an immediate report is hereby submitted that the Company received notice from yes regarding the granting of a judgement approving a compromise arrangement between it and the plaintiff in which the text of the purchase documents of yes will be amended and a benefit will be granted to its relevant customers, estimated at NIS 8 million, whereby they will have access to a dedicated channel in which various films will be broadcast for a limited period of time.
