New Bezeq Service:  Waiting Caller ID

 

Bezeq is about to launch its " Waiting Caller ID" service. Subscribers with Call Waiting on their telephone line will benefit automatically from the new service using a telephone with display that supports caller ID.

The new service lets customers see, while they are talking and in addition to the audio "call waiting" signal, the telephone number of a waiting caller.

Together with the launch of the new service, Bezeq will start a special campaign offering the gift of a telephone with display that supports the new service, to all those who sign up for a basket of service consisting of waiting caller ID, voice mail and conference call.

Pnina Shenhav, VP of Sales and Marketing, says that "waiting caller ID" joins the range of  services offered by Bezeq, enabling customers to make more effective use of the call waiting service – they will be able to conduct a call freely until the expected call arrives, identified by the telephone number of the caller on the display panel.

Most of the company's customers can already enjoy this service. For the others, it will be introduced gradually during 2004. Customers wishing to find out if the service is available on their telephone line are requested to call 1494 (no-charge call) from a Bezeq line, where an automatic voice response will provide the answer.
