Re: Immediate Supplementary Report – Settlement Agreement in a Class Action – Pelephone Communications Ltd.
An supplementary immediate report is hereby submitted further to the Company's report dated November 18, 2018 and the description in section 3.16.1(m) of the chapter describing the corporation's business in the Company's periodic report for 2019 regarding two lawsuits and requests to approve them as class actions, filed against Pelephone Communications Ltd. ("Pelephone") due to a malfunction that occurred in its network in September 2018.
On February 4, 2021, the Company received notice from Pelephone regarding a court ruling confirming a settlement between it and the plaintiffs in the two proceedings. The settlement includes compensation to the relevant customers in the form of benefits with a total value of NIS 1.4 million.
