Immediate Supplementary Report

Decision of the Ministry of Communications Concerning Setting Standard Tariff for Fiber Optics Based Internet Services (FTTP)

Tel Aviv, Israel – June 28, 2020 – Bezeq The Israel Telecommunication Corp., Ltd. (TASE: BEZQ), announces that further to the Company's Immediate Report dated August 5, 2019 concerning publication of a hearing on setting a standard price for fiber optics based Internet services (FTTP), a Supplementary Immediate Report is hereby provided.

On June 25, 2020 the Ministry of Communications published a decision of the hearing (with immediate effect) whereby in the provision of Internet access services using fiber optics to a residential building (Fiber to the Home - FTTH) for private subscribers, license holders will not be able to offer subscribers different terms or a different rate based on the infrastructure offered.

It was also noted in the decision that what was stated in the letter of Ministry’s Director General dated February 23, 2015 (which included a clarification that the infrastructure offered would be considered a reasonable characteristic to justify distinguishing between one group of subscribers and another) will continue to be applicable to Internet access services that are not provided through fiber optics to a residential building.

This is a decision that is part of a group of regulations concerning the deployment of fiber optics and it is not possible to assess its impact until completion of all the regulations.
