Announcement of Industrial Sanctions at Pelephone and Bezeq International
Further to the Company’s immediate report dated August 8, 2021 concerning an announcement of industrial sanctions at the subsidiaries Pelephone Communications Ltd and Bezeq International Ltd (“the Subsidiaries”), and of August 30, 2021 concerning a general strike at the Subsidiaries (“the General Strike”), a supplementary immediate report is hereby provided.
On August 30, 2021 the Regional Labor Court ruled, pursuant to a petition for interim remedies and temporary orders filed by the Subsidiaries, that the employees should cease the General Strike and not harm the core operations of the Subsidiaries, without thereby preventing them from carrying out other sanctions. Later on the Regional Labor Court will set a date for a hearing before both parties. Similarly, the court proposed that the parties should hold talks in an attempt to solve the dispute.
